amazon...a good place to be
No, not the rainforest, which I am sure it's lovely, but right now I am talking about amazon.com I've always been a fan, but after an experience Justin had with them last night, they are even better than I thought.
Justin needed a particular movie to show some of his classes next week. He ordered the movie, and even paid extra for faster shipping. Well, it came when expected and he was happy. After opening the perfectly packaged item his mood changed a bit. We thought the box it shipped in looked great, only to find out that the inside had been stabbed. The movie really looked like someone stabbed it, it was the strangest thing. Knowing that he needed the movie by Monday and also knowing that there wasn't anywhere in good ole' Maysville that he would find it, he had to call customer service. The options were call later or call now, as soon as he clicked the call now button the phone rang...creepy, but cool. The guy on the phone placed the new order and said it should arrive the next day at no charge, and they refunded the cost of the express shipping from the first order. Sure enough, it came today. We were so impressed by this I just thought that Amazon deserved a rave on my blog. So there, good job Amazon.
In line with the Christmas gift idea, Amazon is a great resource. I've been a fan of their wish list option for quite a while. You can basically just have a wish list of things you'd like to own...it really helps some people (last year for Justin's birthday I just clicked till my heart was content...and then so was his). Don't be shocked though, I think it is way underrated, so the people on your list may not have one...but it doesn't hurt to check, trust me. On that note, I think everyone on my list this year should head on over and make their own ;)
*Oh and two points for me. Any of you faithful readers know of my problems with blogging regularly. Well, it just so happens that I have managed to blog everyday this week. Don't expect me to blog this regularly; I guess I've had a lot to say this week. Thanks for reading, it means a lot.
