Katie & Brandon

They don't come much sweeter than Katie. Really, as I was editing their photos I just kept smiling because I could hear her adorable laugh! Katie has the absolute cutest smile - and it's always on her face. Brandon was more of the quite type, but the looks he gave Katie...you instantly knew that they are in love, and boy, he could make her smile. Thank you to Katie & Brandon, it was such a fun shoot and your property couldn't be prettier. I can't wait for the wedding next year!

lindsay & brian

What an amazing shoot! Lindsay & Brian took me to Miami University to take their engagement photographs. Lindsay has just graduated and Brian will be soon, and I loved seeing their favorite spots and hearing about the campus.
I wanted to share a few more of my favorites and include a slideshow of the images - hope you enjoy it!

Miami has a beautiful archway and it is said that if you kiss under it at midnight, you will marry that person (or something like that). This is where Brian proposed to her...how sweet is that!!!

I just wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures from Whitney & Damon's engagement session. I know there are a few, but trust me, I had so many more that I wanted to post! We had so much fun and I am in love with the pictures. Thanks guys for a great shoot! A fun fact about this session, we took all the pictures within a block or two of our apartment in Maysville, there are tons of great places and we wanted to try some of them out, check out the variety we found.
*and for those who don't know (the very few out there), yes, this is my twin sister :) and I know, we don't look anything alike...

emily & thomas

This awesome couple happens to be very great friends of mine. Emily and I lived on the same hall for about 3 years in college, and she is one of my very best friends from good ole' Asbury! I am not going to even start on the good times we had...seriously good times. :) Thomas is also a friend of mine from college; he was actually the only one that kept me sane through our calculus class (remember the withering stare Thomas?).
Anyway, these two are so, so great together and I couldn't be happier for them. I loved this shoot because I hadn't seen them interact a lot as a couple and I was able to see the love they have for each other; it was awesome. I am sooo excited to shoot their wedding in September! Well, I have tons of images, but just picked out a few of my favs. Congrats Emily and Thomas (and be ready, Justin and I are ready for a trip down your way!)


I love, love, love this sequence... (doesn't it make you think of that song...how sweet it is to be loved by you...) I hadn't even been to the area we did the shoot, but Thomas picked out some awesome locations! this one makes me so very happy:

Another photo shoot this week, this time I got to shoot my sister and her long time fiance. We have done an engagement shoot before, but decided to update it. We had an absolute blast, well, we did walk around for 2 hours, so if you ask Chelsea make sure her feet have healed by now. A little secret about Chillicothe...there are sooo many options for pictures!!! Just check out some of the backgrounds I found, and these are just a sampling...we took so many! I can't wait to be back in the area to take advantage of it, someday :)

erin + mitch

I love Erin & Mitch, these two people are so fabulous! I met Erin 3 1/2 years ago when we were Freshman here at Asbury College. We were suitemates, in the best little unit. She and Mitch had known each other since they were little and are so adorable together. They are some of the sweetest, most genuine people you could ever meet. And style, Erin has it, you wouldn't believe what she turned Asbury's married housing apartments into, it looks fabulous!!! Anyway, they asked me to take their engagement pictures, and while these are from quite a while ago, I thought I would post them anyway, they just make me happy! Hope you all are having a happy day! Enjoy the weather before this snow comes in...

Just wanted to start sharing some of the work I have done over the past year or so. I thought I would share from a shoot back in June. This is Matt & Theresa, a seriously awesome couple, we had a great time on the campus of OSU and even had the chance to sneak into the stadium.
