09 Senior: Ellie

Wow! Really, I can't even describe how much fun I had on this photo shoot! Ellie is phenomenal - smart, stunning, stylish & sweet - I couldn't have asked for any more! I was so happy that we could work out a date to do her senior pictures - Ellie is a really busy girl, and actually lives in Mansfield, Ohio (good 2 hours away). She is the granddaughter of our wonderful friends, Beth & Rosco (we house sat for them over the summer), and I was so excited when I found out that she wanted to do her photos at the house since she had so many memories there!
I have gone a bit over board once again...but I can't help it - I had too many favorites, so you will just have to bear with me on the long post!

You know it's going to be a good shoot when there are shoes like these are involved! Simply Gorgeous:
Ellie's boyfriend came down too, and I couldn't help but get a few photos of them together...how cute are these?! Thank you Ellie, it was a great shoot!

09 Senior: Zach

What a great time! I was told before the shoot that Zach wasn't really into getting his photos done (it was a 'for mom' thing), but I don't believe it. He was great and I loved the images we got (and I am pretty sure he had a good time ;)
Zach's girlfriend Rachel was also there (which I loved, you wouldn't believe the smiles she could get out of him! it was great). I grabbed this shot while Zach was changing his shirt...isn't she gorgeous!Future seniors - if you want to bring your boyfriend/girlfriend along...it's ok, really, I don't mind! I love having someone else there to help get great expressions!

09 Senior: Katy

I have been waiting for this particular shoot for a very long time! If you follow this blog at all, you know or have caught on to the fact that I have the most supportive family ever! Hence, all my amazing cousins that have chosen me to photograph their senior pictures.
This family is more than just my aunt, uncle & cousins. They are closer than those titles. Growing up everyone thought that Lindsay (the oldest) was our sister...we were always together. They took me on one of my favorite vacations ever with them - Maine, I love Maine. They just live right across the road and always have sugar or potatoes or whatever we are out of, and they don't mind sharing.
I love this family so, so much.
And, I love these photos.

The best part is that we aren't done. We are having another session this winter! I *love* winter sessions!
Thank you Katy! You rocked this session!
*Oh, be prepared for a photo overload - I couldn't just pick a few.

Michael

Michael is from Minnesota and while he was in town a few weeks ago to visit family, we met up to do his senior photos. It was a great shoot, with great light...and not to mention a killer location in right in Bainbridge! He was so easy to photograph and i think they turned out great. I did feel so bad though, right when we got to our second location he was stung right under the eye...really, on the eyelash part...it was awful! Although it didn't really phase him, we did have to speed it up do to some swelling! Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.
This is from my new favorite location! We had great light there too, couldn't ask for anything better!

I should be sleeping...

but I can't. It's 1:45 am and I am editing photos because I couldn't sleep. I am working on some senior photos, and stumbled upon a "mistake". I caught this image right before I corrected my exposure...but I love it! Just thought I'd share... More on him soon!

Ok, now I think I will force myself to sleep, lots to catch up on tomorrow now that I have my computer back!

ben

I know what you've been thinking? All these girls are lovely, but do you not photograph guys? Enter Ben, one of the brave ones. We did this shoot just around the new year and let me tell you, it was cold! Ben was a trooper, and very good at the poses! I had a great time photographing him, and I love what we ended up with! How do I get so lucky in photographing so many good looking seniors?!

My favorite:
Not your typical senior picture, but I still like it:

Most people think you need leaves on the trees for a good shoot, not true. I absolutely love how they look in this shot.

taylor

Here's another awesome senior shoot that just so happens to be another cousin! Taylor is one of the Bobb family members that I have mentioned on here before. They have all moved on to Florida to be full-time missionaries and we were sooo excited to have them home for Christmas! The session was so much fun; I even made Bree come along and help me out! Thanks, Taylor, for being so wonderful! Here are a couple of my favs from her session: Every time I photograph downtown, I find something new that I LOVE! I've added this to my list of favorite walls in town. I love it, and the funny thing is that it just so happens to be the back side of my dream studio in town...how about that?!
Love this portrait-aren't her eyes amazing!
Taylor wanted a couple with her Bible, so of course we shot some semi-traditional ones (well as traditional as I can get ;) ...but this is actually my favorite:
I love the looks I get sometimes when I pick out an area...but hey, I love the tires! My stunning cousins!!! Love you girls!

breanna

This past weekend we were finally able to shoot my cousin Breanna's senior pictures. It was scheduled for another weekend, but she ended up being crowned Queen of our Festival, so we pushed it back a bit :) *can't you see why, she is so beautiful! She looked absolutely gorgeous for the shoot and I loved those colors on her. Here are a few of my favs:

Everyone thought I was crazy for wanting to use a giant vent...but I really liked how it turned out:

Love the lighting in this shot: The next two are my favorites of the day: *Bree, thanks for a great shoot!

caitlin

I had so much fun on this shoot! Caitlin is so gorgeous and fun, and I think that shows in her images. I just wanted to share a few of my favorites. *I promise to restrain myself...I had a lot of favorites :)

Tyler

Meet Tyler, my awesome, handsome cousin! This session is also from a while back, Ty is now a freshman at OSU. We had a blast during the shoot and I think it shows in the pictures. He is uber talented and just put out a cd last year (music shots below). If you can't tell, I am quite proud of him and so, so glad he asked me to shoot his pictures.
