I am so excited to finally announce my brand new blog! I have been working on it so hard, and I love how it turned out. I kept trying to make this site work but was never really thrilled with the look of it...so I just made a new one somewhere else! Print Order Deadline!

November 23rd is our deadline for Christmas print orders. If you are hoping to have your prints in order for Christmas please place your order by November 23rd...there will be *no* exceptions!
All events from this year have been re-posted online, so if you wanted to order more images but your gallery had expired, it's back! Feel free to email me if you have forgotten your password. *the galleries will expire after January 1st (it says, 9 weeks...but it's wrong).
Email me if you have any questions. If we have had a session and you haven't seen the proofs, they will be coming in time for you to place your order for Christmas, no worries!

gone again...

I am heading out again in the morning! I am going back for a quick trip in Bardstown, KY, again, but I'll be back on Wednesday. I'll be checking email while I am gone, so if you've got a question, or want to schedule a session (October is getting *full*, so if you are wanting those beautiful fall leaves - which are already beginning to turn - definitely let me know soon!)...shoot me an email, and we will get it taken care of!

Because I couldn't post without a photo, I wanted to share this photo of a recent wedding. Laura & Rob were married in Northern Ohio a couple of weeks ago, and I just *love* this image of them! *I know it's on my new header...but if you haven't seen my new header, it's new to you :) More to come of this sweet couple soon! I have been working on a new blog for quite a while now, and although there are a few more things I want to change, I had to switch now. I couldn't take my old look much longer! I think this suits Cassidy Dawn Photography much better! There are a few things different. For instance, the archive, bio & info are now at the bottom of the page. Eventually, there will also be a 'labels' section so that it will be easier to find particular posts...that will come soon. There are also important links at the top for the Website, Slideshows, and Proofs!
I just needed a cleaner look...something that focuses on the photos, and I love it!

Like I said, a few things on it will be changing, but I am happy to have a new look in place! Next up: Website!

I'm still here!

Apologies for the lack of posting.
As you may have noticed I have been in Bardstown, Ky off and on for the past two weeks, well I am back and expected to be back to blogging...however, Ike (the storm) has had a different plan. We had such strong winds the other day that it knocked our power out. I think most of Ross County is back on, but sometimes there is a price to pay for living out in the boonies (like we love). Hopefully we will have it back soon, but for now I am bouncing around on a laptop trying to keep up with everyone, so if I haven't returned emails or calls, please know I am trying!
Although I haven't been updating here, trust me, there is lots of updating going on elsewhere! Cassidy Dawn Photography has some exciting things in store, including a fresh look to the blog & website, and maybe a few more things! It may be a while, but it's coming, promise ;)

I'm Back!

We are finally online here at CDP! I am *so* happy to have the internet back, really, you have no idea... Things have been super busy, but I wanted to take a break and show you a beautiful canvas that arrived this past week. This canvas is 20 x 40 (huge!) and I was so happy with how it turned out:
Oh, and a small note about Mid October sessions (I know, again?!)
I've had many, many requests for mid October (and we are booking them daily)...so if you are hoping for a session with our b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l Southern Ohio leaves, please contact me asap so we can put your day on the calender...they are going fast!

*Also, the end of October is also the deadline for shoots for Holiday cards, so if you are hoping to get one of our too-cute holiday cards, please contact me!

this could be the beginning of a blog post vacation...

...but not on purpose, I promise!

As you may have caught on, we moved today! However silly Horizon (internet folks) said they can't come for over an entire week!!! I know, crazy! The Direct TV folks can come next day (at least we'll have the Olympics)...oh well, so I will be bouncing around in different locations checking email and such, but I can't guarantee any great blog posts until at least next Wednesday. I hate to do it, but unfortunately I don't have the capabilities to hook it up myself (trust me, I would if I could :)

So keep checking back, I may surprise you, and if any of you Horizon folks can speed this process along I will be your very best friend.

quick update

I have just upgraded the online proofing page in order to make online ordering a bit easier. However, the new system doesn't allow package ordering...this is being worked on, but not quite there yet. If you do wish to order a package, just email me your selections and we can go from there. For those who don't need to order packages...enjoy the new system and let me know if you have any questions!

Oh, and I just finished looking through the latest Martha Stewart...it made me *so* happy. So many great things. From beautiful lanterns, a fun ice cream treat, cute trip mementos, to an entire article on lemonade! and beautiful white flowers & glass containers...I could keep on going...oh my goodness, and pie! so many different types of pie! Seriously, it just put me in the best mood! (melanie, I thought of you throughout the entire magazine!)
