not so happy halloween...
Why not so happy? Well, here is the problem:
I've never lived in town before during Halloween, so this was my year, I was ready to pass out candy. I wasn't thrilled about buying a ton of candy, but I also didn't want to disappoint the kiddos. Because we live on a very historical, beautiful street, it tends to be pretty popular and we were told that quite a few people come for trick-or-treating. So I went out and bought a ton of candy, and not that cheap knock-off candy, I got the real deal. So we waited, and waited, and waited some more and no one came. I am not saying that we only had a couple, I mean absolutely no one came! So here I am, on our porch with a huge bowl of candy waiting...So if any of you are lacking on candy just let me know, I have plenty!
*Stay tuned, CDP is getting a new look and will be here soon!

Awww! You missed out! We had so many more kids than last year (this year was warmer). We had the usual super heroes and princesses, but there was also a Thomas the Train and a shark. One little girl waved "bye" the whole way down the sidewalk. You might have to just come to my house next year!
Ditto. We ended up just eating our candy. We got NO ONE.
next year you can take maddie around or you can sit at my house. Frankfort was REALLY packed on thursday but it was pretty slow when Maddie passed out candy at the Milliken's last night
It sure looks like Reeses PB Cups in that bowl. You might bring a couple home.
Canaan said he would eat all you wanted to send down here! LOL
Not a surprise..he eats everything!
Come to our house next year. If no one shows up that means more candy for me to eat!
You probably shouldn't have had the sign that said MRSA above your porch. That tends to keep the kids away.
Count your blessings kiddo!! We used to give out 15lbs of candy at my first house in Harrison. We lost count somewhere around 180 kids!! It makes for a very busy night. Send your dad some Reeses!!
