This was my second time photographing at The Ohio State University and we thought it would be appropriate since many of them went to school there, and a few of them work there! I was thrilled with the locations that we were using...everything was so beautiful. At the end we headed to the stadium to do a few shots outside. Little did I know, we where about to finish off the shoot with a rare opportunity...and into the stadium we went! We had the whole place to ourselves (a big thank you to the man at the gate), and I was thrilled!
The shoot was a gift for the mother, what a sweet idea. Thank you for not only wanting to document your family, but for allowing me to photograph. It was an honor.

I wanted to share a sneak peak from a photo shoot last weekend. The family was fabulous, the weather was great, and *love* the images! I wanted to share at least one for now...more to come! Have a great weekend!!!
Happy 1st Day of School to anyone that involves! I don't know if I officially announced on the blog where Justin is teaching this year. He is now teaching at his Alma mater, Adena High School! This year he is teaching Sophomore English II, and a class that involves Journalism, Creative Writing, Speech & Reading. He's on an amazing staff and is really looking forward to the year!
Most would think that only new mothers take photos of their child on their first day of school.....not here! Here is Justin on his first day of school, he's so cute :)
I went for a little walk around the farmhouse tonight and thought I would give you a little tour of where we live. I've been inside all day editing and needed to get some fresh air and my trigger finger was having withdraws (I think it was from the too fun session this weekend). So here is a little look around at what we call "the farmhouse". Enjoy!

We are finally online here at CDP! I am *so* happy to have the internet back, really, you have no idea... Things have been super busy, but I wanted to take a break and show you a beautiful canvas that arrived this past week. This canvas is 20 x 40 (huge!) and I was so happy with how it turned out:
Oh, and a small note about Mid October sessions (I know, again?!)
I've had many, many requests for mid October (and we are booking them daily)...so if you are hoping for a session with our b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l Southern Ohio leaves, please contact me asap so we can put your day on the calender...they are going fast!
*Also, the end of October is also the deadline for shoots for Holiday cards, so if you are hoping to get one of our too-cute holiday cards, please contact me!

As you may have caught on, we moved today! However silly Horizon (internet folks) said they can't come for over an entire week!!! I know, crazy! The Direct TV folks can come next day (at least we'll have the Olympics)...oh well, so I will be bouncing around in different locations checking email and such, but I can't guarantee any great blog posts until at least next Wednesday. I hate to do it, but unfortunately I don't have the capabilities to hook it up myself (trust me, I would if I could :)
So keep checking back, I may surprise you, and if any of you Horizon folks can speed this process along I will be your very best friend.
