engagment shoots

I just had the best time. Justin and I just got back from our engagement session with the extra, extra wonderful Melanie Mauer (MMP website, MMP blog). We had so much fun and can't wait to see the pictures. I just wanted to encourage any of you to book an engagement session with whomever you choose for your wedding photographer. Now most of you know how well I know Melanie, for those who don't, I have had the honor of working for her for the past 2 awesome years. Anyway, even though I know her so well, it was great to work with her before the wedding, it helps you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and in front of your photographer. So that is my 2 cents for the day, take it for what it's worth :)
